Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” “House of the Dragon” is set nearly 200 years before Game of Thrones. As a prequel to Game of Thrones, the initial notices for “House of the Dragons” are largely positive. House of the Dragons is considered a successor to the original series. Targaryens are the focus of all the events in the storyline. They are the legendary dragon riders in all of Westeros. The series was more focused on female characters. House of the Dragons reignited the curiosity and excitement of its viewers.
It was an excellent way to let the fans of the show know more about the history of the Houses and its characters. House of the Dragons has reflected on dreams, satisfying relationships, and a lot more. It portrayed a very healthy friendship between Rhaenyra and Alicent. A show with a package of distinct characters. They are all well-played by the people. It is a mix of quality direction, political intrigue, and some unexpected twist and turns.
