The Big Bang Theory is a famous young-adult television sitcom, which was created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady. It is also undoubtedly one of the most popular TV shows of all time. Premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007, the show concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast 279 episodes in 12 seasons. The show has won seven Emmy Awards from 46 nominations. Jim Parsons( Sheldon) also won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series in 2011. The series continued with a prequel Young Sheldon.
The show originally revolved around five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard, and Raj. It later added many other characters who became permanent like Amy, Bernadette, and Stuart. All of them played a major role in making the show what it is today.
