The Originals

The Originals is one of the most special and entertaining vampire TV shows of all time!  This American supernatural television series got the people talking since its release on October 3, 2013. The show challenges the bonds of families at every turn. Week after week, The Originals takes us on a roller coaster of emotions that include tears, happiness, and anger. And more often than not, we want to pull out our hair in frustration at what’s playing out on our screens. (Looking at you, Klaus. Is it really that hard to trust your family?)

On January 27, 2015, the first book in a series of novels based on the show was released. The Rise, The Loss, and The Resurrection make up the three novels in The Originals series written by Julie Plec.
