If a perfect spin-off ever existed, it has to be “The Originals“. Created by Julie Plec, The Originals, is an American supernatural drama series that began airing on The CW on October 3, 2013. It ended after the Five Seasons on August 1, 2018. With its attractive storyline and immersive depiction this spin-off of “The Vampire Diaries” has created its own fan following.
The series focuses on three of the Mikaelson siblings: Klaus, Elijah, and Rebekah. Their family is known as the “Originals” due to the fact that they are the first vampires ever to exist. The original vampires are the most powerful and the first of their long bloodlines. Unlike normal vampires, the Originals are indestructible and cannot be killed by anything on earth aside from the White Oak Stake.
