It’s easy to say that Teen Wolf left an indelible influence on viewers during its run. The popular teen drama/sci-fi series was based on the 1985 Michael J. Fox comedy film of the same name. It followed young werewolf Scott McCall and his ‘pack’ of friends Stiles Stilinski, Allison Argent, Lydia Martin, and Derek Hale as they battled some of the most evil supernatural (and human) creatures imaginable.
It was probably one of the stronger shows of its sort, since it combined teen drama with captivating mythology and good writing, and it wowed its devoted following for nearly six years. Tyler Posey and (to a lesser extent) Dylan O’Brien – who has since gone on to become one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars – became household names as a result of the film.
