Vikings was one of the most exciting shows of the year. The battle between the Sons of Ragnar slowly crept upon us. It is an Irish-Canadian historical drama television series. Debuted in March 2013, and is inspired by the life of legendary Viking hero Ragnar Lodbrok. The series shows the ways in which the Vikings made their long and uncertain sea journeys. And we also get to understand the society of that time. This society believes that death is a new beginning from their childhood, and is not afraid of death.

1.Vikings and the character of Ragnar are based on the legendary Icelandic Saga tale of Ragnar Lodbrok. The jury is still out on whether or not Lodbrok was real or mythological.
2.Rollo’s tattoo is a depiction of a scene from Norse mythology. The wolves Hati and Skoll are chasing the sun and the moon. Need to pay more attention folks.
3.Whenever there are scenes involving large groups of Norseman, the voices in the background are speaking Icelandic, Danish, Norwegian and Swedish.
