The Big Bang Theory is a famous American young-adult television sitcom created by Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady. It is undoubtedly one of the most popular TV shows of all time. It premiered on CBS on September 24, 2007, and concluded on May 16, 2019, having broadcast 279 episodes in 12 seasons. The show has won seven Emmy Awards from 46 nominations. Jim Parsons( Sheldon) also won the Golden Globe for Best Actor in a Television Comedy Series in 2011. The series continued with a prequel Young Sheldon. The show originally revolved around five characters living in Pasadena, California: Leonard, Sheldon, Penny, Howard, and Raj.
